Check out the 2010 BTA League brochure (PDF) for all the latest information on BTA leagues for 2010.

The BTA has a very active league program. We reserve tennis courts with the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation. In addition, our League Committee volunteers take care of some of the registration details for you.

League teams typically form from a group of players that play together. For newcomers, infrequent players or players just looking to play on a different team, finding a league team can be difficult. To assist you the BTA maintains a find-a-league page. Also, the USTA website has a league search page.

If you are a league captain click here for 2010 league team information.

In order to play league tennis, you need to do the following:
  1. Join the USTA.
You can do this by phone 1-800-990-USTA or online at the USTA membership page. The cost is $40/year and must be charged to a major credit card. Keep track of your USTA membership number! You league team captain will need this to register you.
  2. Have an NTRP Rating.
You will need a current computer-generated NTRP rating or you will be required to rate yourself using guidelines provided by the USTA. If you need to do a self-rating, this will be entered on TennisLink when your league coordinator registers you on a BTA team.
  3. Join the BTA
You will need to join the BTA before you can play in a BTA sponsored league.
  4. Contact your team captain
If you played on a BTA team last year, you should contact your team captain. Your captain will need to register all players with the League Coordinators listed in your team category. Information packets will be sent to last year's team captains. All other prospective players should contact one of the league coordinators.
The BTA has a limited number of courts available. Teams will be registered on a first-paid, first-registered basis. Therefore, it is imperative for all captains to register teams with League Coordinators as soon as possible. See the information below for the specific Coordinator for your league.
